Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Anushuchit Jati Janjati Chattrawas Evam Jan Kalyan Samiti

On April 14, 2024, a ceremony was held in honour of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti at the Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Anushuchit Jati Janjati Chhatrawas Evam Jan Kalyan Samiti in New Tehri. Through this event, we have honoured and awarded those individuals who have contributed to the welfare of our society and the talented students who have excelled in their academics.

Nashamukt Bharat Abhiyaan

On June 28, 2024, as part of the Nashamukt Bharat Abhiyaan, a program was held on behalf of Ambedkar SC/ST Chhatrawas in New Tehri at the District Headquarter, Tehri. The event included an oath-taking ceremony, a conference, and a debate competition on drug addiction. The district social welfare, health department, police department, social workers, and students participated in this program.

Personality Development Program for youths

The Institution has conducted a training program on Personality Development for rural and urban youths, in this training program the participant’s youths received intensive training in personality development and also got career guidance from expert consultants. This camp was organized at the office. 80 youths benefited from this program.

Plantation and Greenery

Everyone has fear of global warming and it is taking place in our environment, the major cause of it is reducing the forest. Lack of forest has brought much havoc to mankind like droughts; floods etc. deforestation has resulted in the death of many species of animals around the world. The Institution has decided to plant trees as much as possible and encourage others every year. Our Institution with the help of the volunteers planted 4200 trees in Sundargarh rural areas.

Poverty Abolition Program

The Institution conducted a Poverty Abolition Programme under this program training program on skill up-gradation cum entrepreneurship development was organized for rural people of Sundargarh district. The focus of this training was on developing the enterprises based on local resources and upgrading the skill of artisans who were working to traditional business with absolute methods. Apart from this the Institution also carried out a Skill training program for poor people of rural area, in this program different training program was conducted e.g. Sewing, Embroidery, Pot making, Dari Making, Soft toys making, wooden work, Carpentry, etc., the main aim of this program was to uplift the economic condition of poor rural people.
